Note that the New Zealand implementation of WCAG2.0 comes with a New Zealand-specific layer. Please read about this in the Technical standards section before consulting the links below.

UPDATE (15 April 2010): After talking with the W3C, we've removed our truncated "developer's guide" to WCAG2.0. We recommend the W3C's "How to Meet WCAG 2.0 Quick Reference"  (see the technical Web guides section) as the best and most usable introduction.

• The How to Meet WCAG 2.0 Quick Reference (W3C) is the best version for developers. Note that in the "Customizing this Quick Reference" area at the top of the page, Level A Success Criteria and Level AA Success Criteria should be checked.
• Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) Overview (W3C). Background, an introduction to WCAG, and links to additional information.
• Overview of WCAG 2.0 Documents (W3C). WCAG2.0 is not designed to be read from cover to cover. This resource from the W3C shows how the parts fit together and what to read first.
